RMIT partners with Essendon Football Club in joint education venture

Incrementum Advisory Group helps foster new partnership between RMIT and Essendon Football Club.




A NEW partnership between RMIT University and the Essendon Football Club will give students a clear pathway into a career in elite sport.


The Essendon Education Academy offers participants access to world-class, high-performance facilities and consistent networking opportunities with industry professionals.


Students have the opportunity to complete a Dual Diploma of Business and Diploma of Leadership and Management while taking advantage of being fully-immersed in the high-performance environment at the home of the Essendon Football Club.


Acknowledging the importance of hands-on learning experiences and the benefits this holds for those entering the sports industry, the Essendon Education Academy guarantees a minimum of 100 hours of real-life work experience across the Essendon Football Club’s various departments and partner networks.


Understanding the impact that programs like the Essendon Education Academy can have on the sports industry, educational institutions and also students, Incrementum Advisory Group worked closely with both parties to ensure the successful launch of this program.


Further work on tailoring appropriate curriculum and student experience were also undertaken to ensure a unique and beneficial outcome for all parties.


By pairing curriculum development with a proven data acquisition strategy, Incrementum has provided the Essendon Education Academy with a roadmap to future growth over the coming years.
